The Global Giving Resource has been created by the students in Ryerson University’s Introduction to Fundraising class. Ryerson University is located in the heart of Toronto, Canada, one of the world’s most diverse and inclusive cities.
The focus of this resource is to explore forms of generosity that take place, or took place, outside of the westren tradition.
Each post is the result of an individual student’s research, investigations and analysis and source material has been included where possible. Students have been encouraged to look to their own family’s and culture’s expressions of philanthropy and giving.
The Global Giving Resource is managed by Suzanne Duncan, the instructor of the Introduction to Fundraising class.
